PrintedBlanket.com is a Spectator Sport USA property, dedicated to one subject: what separates a print that lasts from a print that cracks, peels, and fades.
PrintedBlanket.com is operated by Spectator Sport USA, a sports gear, media, and apparel company based in Murray, Utah. The dye-sublimation presses behind every order belong to its production partner HighSchoolBlankets.com, the Murray factory that has printed custom blankets for over 20 years. Custom printed blankets are the flagship of the partnership.
This site exists because most buyers comparing “custom blankets” online are really comparing print methods without knowing it. Screen print and vinyl put a layer on the fabric that eventually cracks or peels. Dye-sublimation bonds the ink into the fiber, which is the difference between a blanket that looks new after fifty washes and one that doesn't survive ten.
Every blanket we print is full-bleed dye-sublimation on plush NubaySoft fabric, the print canvas the partnership developed: fine enough to resolve photographic detail, even-dyeing across large color fields, and unchanged in softness after the press. Upper tiers are printed on both faces, and the Swanky Blankey pairs a printed front with a faux-fur back.
